What is septoplasty?
Septoplasty is a functional surgery to correct a deviation in the septum — the cartilage and bone wall dividing the nasal cavity.
It is not aesthetic on its own but can be combined with rhinoplasty in the same session.
Symptoms
Persistent nasal congestion, snoring, dry mouth, recurrent sinusitis, headaches and reduced sleep quality are the main symptoms.
Septoplasty + rhinoplasty
When both functional and aesthetic concerns exist, the two procedures can be performed together — shortening total recovery time.
Frequently asked questions
